Bot nick and owner nick serve different purposes
The bot nick is the service’s name in the channel. The owner nick identifies you as the customer authorized for agreed functions. Enter your own registered nick in the form, rather than the bot’s nick or another user’s.
Identity is checked during configuration. Adopting the same nickname does not prove ownership: authenticate to your network account and use the mechanism we provide. Request nick or account changes through support.
Information delivered on activation
After confirming payment and preparing the service, we send the network, channel, bot nick, authorized owner and guide to enabled commands. Follow the guide to request recognition and test a function.
Exact commands depend on the script and service. Another bot’s commands do not imply the same permissions. Bot Radio uses station functions; Bot Trivia uses game functions; Bot Telegram uses the bridge and enabled options.
What you control and what we administer
You control enabled functions through IRC commands. We install, configure and maintain the Eggdrop, Tcl scripts and server. Owner in the order does not grant server access, Tcl editing or global administration.
Request script, setting or question changes in a support ticket. Do not share NickServ passwords or external service keys in public channels.
Why Telnet is not the customer control method
Telnet sends credentials without encryption. The purchased functions do not require a bot console login: authorized IRC commands control the agreed features.
If the bot does not recognize you, check network authentication, the owner nick in your order and the channel. Report the response and time through support. Restricting access to those functions protects the service configuration.
